Ana have sent me a book from Great Britain and we decided to become penpals. She's Portuguese living abroad for ages. Her package was made with a upcycled envelopes, I do it most of the times with bubbled envelopes, why to waste what still can be used? Saving the Earth one piece at a time is the motto!

From my youngest penpal, he is just five years old and soon will start school, he lives in England and i a very smart boy! Ah-ah he isn't my penpal but his mom does. Once he "wrote" me a letter and I've mailed one with his name and guess what I got? I adored every single bit of it!

I think books and letters should be a part of kids favourite things to play with as they can and dream about, not video games and long hours inside home in a room with a dim light staring  screen and barely breathing. That's not like childhood must be reminded later...

oh amazing! i have to start decorating my envelopes again, lately i've been lazy with that (tho of course the most important thing is what's on the inside...).

I know what you mean Stu. I guess I am mostly tired and I'm not sure if everyone appreciates the little decorations we do, and I don't like to waste efforts when they aren't even noticed. But I don't blame others, we can't love all the same things, and I always give my personal touch to the envelopes, plus stationery isn't very popular here and I swear I would love to have bunches of it, like stickers to make more beautiful things.

This mail art is sooo inspiring and what a joy to find something like this in your mailbox ^0^ It's not actually about the pretty decoration in itself, but it shows that someone has made efforts for you and put some thoughts into how to send your letter... this is just lovely ^^
